Logged on to my online accounts today to see my balances. Each of my credit cards says the same thing for my balance - NOTHING.[:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]

I have one actual credit card, and I use it exclusively for phone and online purchases. I never run a balance on the account and never pay interest. I know it is dangerous, and Dave Ramsey cautions against it, but it is much easier to dispute a charge on a credit card than on a debit card. 0 -

Well now the money I have goes to the local chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). They sell gift cards to the local grocery store to raise money. I shop at the this store to get fuel perks (discounts on gas). I found out I can use the gift cards to buy gift cards for DICKS and get double fuel perks. Then use the Dicks card to buy ammo. But also I have been getting my parents fuel cards for their car and groceries, it gets expensive and I am trying to keep them from getting a reverse mortgage on their house. I tend to buy the pricey stuff for them, such as corn dogs and frozen meals that my three year old nephew likes to eat when he visits Grandma as Grandma is supposed to have the good stuff for them. 0 -

I buy everything I can on credit cards. I can use the Cabelas and Gander Mountain bucks I earn on hunting and fishing stuff. Also you get protection if someone gives you a bad deal.
I even put my car insurance, utilities and donations on them.
But, I also pay them off every month no matter what. I have even borrowed money from my kids or family to do so if necessary. Then I sell something or tighten the belt until I catch up. You never get anything back on the interest you pay on credit cards, you only loose more of your money that you could be using to pay other bills. Paying interest on credit cards is a self-defeating measure.
That's why some of my guns are on the auction side now-gotta pay the bills.0 -

Now I know of some people who only go with leased vehicles as all the maintenance is done by the leasor. I prefer to buy and buy used as you lose value as soon as you pull a new vehicle out of the lot, but why do I always find the lemons?0 -
So I get a bill from Discover. Apparently paying the bill off was not good enough for them. They sent me a new bill for $20.79 on the interest for the two days it was not payed. I guess $2000 is not enough for them. So much for shopping at Sears anymore. 0
