M-1 Carbine...Don't I Wish...

Just an interesting story...Back in the early 60's...NRA Members were offered M-1 Carbines for $20 OR Colt 45 Auto's for $16 dollars. I placed my order for a Carbine and about a year later it arrived through the U.S. Mail. I was in College at the time. The carbine was a Winchester, packed in grease from the Tex-Arkana Arsenal...I believe never fired! I shot the "hell" out of that gun for about a year...got tired of it...then sold it for $50 bucks! Don't I wish...
