Had surgery there yesterday to fix two hernias I got during my Iraq deployment. The staff at Zablocki were excellent and treated my family and I like royalty. The VA takes a lot of heat, but I have nothing but praise for my treatment. Now to spend the next few days on a legal buzz......Joe

  I use the Des Moines VA for all my care, and have had a couple of minor surgeries there as well. I think they do a very good job. Never a complaint.
