Stevens 200/Savage 110 triggers
Are these triggers really meant to be adjustable?
I pulled the stock off the 243 tonight after pulling on the 15# trigger to see if I could soften it a bit.
There is a small adjustable screw that adjusts the tension on the trigger spring. If I back it up the trigger pull comes down to maybe 2-3#. Much nicer than earlier. No problems with sear hookup or anything. Are these triggers really meant to be adjusted that easily? Would I happen upon any problems should I leave it lighter like that?

Leave it if you think it is safe and you are comfortable with it. I ended up changing mine to a rifle basix trigger and set under a pound.
