Some more fun stuff added to my truck (pics)
Finally got my other 6 KC Daylighters mounted on my truck. Still need to wire them in, but they're on there. Had to build the bracket that connects them together and to the roll bar. I'm one step closer to being done.
Still need to do the frame-up resto-mod, replacing the driveline with a 302 V8, 5 speed w/ transfer case and custom 9" solid axles front and rear; and the body work, but all that requires A LOT more money than I can afford to spend on it.
Before all y'alls start flaming away, let me remind you that it's PAID FOR, IN FULL, and it gets mid-20s for mileage! After all that, I, for one, would say that I can do whatever the hell I want to it.

My dad had the bright idea of a V-8 swap in a Ranger years ago. We had an 85 Ranger if I remember right. We decided to go with an old Winsor he had from an old cop car.
The truck didn't handle the motor well. Does anything with I beams do? It had hp, but still handle like a truck and I went though back tires like crazy.
It was one of the most unpleasant projects we've ever done together.
When it was all said and done. We didn't talk to each other for a couple of weeks. We were that mad at one another.
If you do this Zulu be prepared to do alot of cutting and welding and cussing. Mostly cussing.0 -
