308 vs. 7mm/08
which rifle should i buy to hunt deer in the mississippi delta? i was thinking about buying the t/c icon 308 cal?

Mississippi delta deer aren't that big. Not that it would matter as the 7mm/08 is a FINE caliber. That would be far and away my choice. Of course, my son has one and both of us love it! [:D] 0 -
I shot both but for smaller deer I would go with the 7mm-08. Shoots flater and longer 0 -

some of the deer that i have taken are between 250-275 lbs.0 -
if you DON'T reload I would go with the 308 , just because its cheaper and easier to buy , now if you are a reloader then go with either , both are good cartridges 0 -
