    I'll trade ya!

We are suppost to be about 98 degree's with darn near 100% humidity today!

And my AC will be about useless today as well because I am haveing my front door refinished today and it will be off most of the day![:(]

I can take dry heat anyday over this humid stuff!

What does the heat and dryness have to do with fishing???

In Utah we have not seen more than a tenth of rain. And with 5 or more fires going it isnt helping.

Until the day before yesterday, I would have been with ya; no rain for months here in Ohio. But then it rained. And some more today. My veggie garden is very grateful, but we're still about an inch under par.

I keep pictures of a Hawaiian luau style party we held in June '87 at Eagle's Nest in Butte.

Funny to see all clad in lei's, Hawaiian shirts, Bermuda shorts, and snow capped mountains in the background.

I'm with GRD on the humidity,......it's plain miserable here! Yesterday the heat index was 105!
I don't care if it's in the nineties, as long as the humidity is low,.......only downside is, it's easier to get dehydrated if you are working uotside in low humidity, and high temps.

We are below normal rainfall for this time of year. In addition, snow melt has been accelerated by the heat wave. The rivers flow higher and faster, vs. normal melt and flow over the entire season. The heat is raising the temperature of the run off, which affects the rivers, which affects the fish. The fish and game folks indicate that the fish are "stressed" from the heat and speed of the water flow for this time of year. Here in western central Montana fishing must cease at 2:00pm through midnight on the river systems. We had low river flows on many of our rivers last year towards late August and into September. Some of those low flows are already here. [;)]

    Thanks! [^]
