Hobbyguy
So Hobbyguy, Did you really say something this retarded?
Funny thing, as I see modern and antique firearms sold on eBay almost every day. At least they finally cracked down on the parts kits and 80% receivers. I'll bet that was a real poke in the eye when the good folks at eBay finally realized they were providing the venue for gang bangers to easily and cheaply obtain unregistered guns and parts sets.
Surley you jest?

I looked in your profile and there is no way to contact you. I was wondering if you're a native of the Missoula area or at least have lived there a long time, 15-20+ years?
I was thinking the other day and wondered if the Bob Wards store is still always where it was and if they still had the gun store in the mall(yes folks, gun stores in the mall in Montana!)? Western Sportsman was the name of it if I recall. It's been quite a while since I've been to Missoula.
Thanks.0 -

Thanks for pulling for our "Griz" Ed! [;)]
On another matter, it looks like I'll be filling my bull elk tag locally this year (instead of heading east next month to that ranch I mentioned). We've got a HUGE herd on the back side of our mountain, accessible through Miller Creek. I'm scouting tomorrow afternoon and hoping to bag one on Sunday (that's if I don't get too eager and "whack" one tomorrow). [^]
Jim
I and 6 of my hunting buddies did not see any elk, heck not even deer, there were plenty on our way to our spot and on our way home though. They were all over the place a week ago when we were bear hunting. Good luck!

Did you bag a bear this year? I missed the cut-off and have been kicking myself ever since. I've already marked our 2008 calendar so I won't make the same mistake next year. Nothing like planning ahead, way ahead. [:D]
Jim
Negative! I am not really big in bear hunting but I go out with my friends anyway and always get a bear tag every year just in case.[:p]

Here's someone from Malmstrom harvested. I am told the raw score was about 22.
