I'm unemployed
As of today I am officialy unemployed! Our branch office is closing down, just another casualty of the mortgage collapse. I was planning on leaving in any case, so this is pretty good timing for me. I will now begin studying for my Series 6,7, and 63 licensing tests so that I can continue to move forward in my new carreer as an investment consultant and financial planner. Sure is a relief to finally be done with the loan business!

There is a lot of opportunity helping the baby boomers invest in the market. Its a big % of the population and can be a nice place to focus your career. Good Luck! 0 -

Well you could be a friend of my moms son,.......that worked for a mortgage banker, and decided to open his own "lending" business about 6 months ago![:D]

Nope just a humble servant. I asked my new boss the other day if the shake ups in the markets made him nervous, he said "why should it? My clients are protected." Sounds like my kind of job. [:)]0 -
The average invester has great confidence in the market when it is high, so he buys in. When there is a "correction" (the market drops) he panics and sells, for a net loss.
