I am retiring today ...

FEENIX
... from the USAF after 20 years and 5 months - a career filled with lots of challenges, opportunities, and job satisfaction. It's a duty and honor that I will always treasure the rest of my life. The ceremony is today but the official retirement date is 1 Sep 2007. [^][^][^].

    Congradulations and thank you for serving. One of my brothers retired from the AF a few years ago after serving almost 22 years.

    Congrats FEENIX!! Hope you enjoy your "semi-retirement" as much as I am. I went contract instead of the WG/GS route because that seems to be the way things are going up here. 8 hr days are WAY better than 10 to 18 hour days!![:D]

    Thank you all! My retirement ceremony went well. Simple yet momentous. I did very well on my remarks portion until I have to honor my wife and children's support and sacrifices throughout the years. I must be getting soft or something, I shed some tears of joy. [:p][^][:D]

    Well, maybe you can squeeze a couple of days in there for goofing off.
