Best series ending?

My vote is for:

Six Feet Under

There have been some memorable (and in the case of The Sopranos- infamous) endings on TV series.

In the last two weeks, Gale I have gone through and watched all the episodes of Six Feet Under, It was really good to watch it ll over again - good for us, because we really liked it the first time around (HBO). But the way they eneded it with all its amazing footage of the future, I was left in shock AGAIN.

It was the most beautiful ending I had never imagined. I really wish I had been able to watch it live. The end was probably the best 10minutes of TV I have ever watched and felt so good about - talk about tying up all loose ends and leaving the viewers with a satisfied feeling.

If you ever get the chance - check it out - we were borrowing a friend's packaged series.

    Remember the second Bob Newhart Show where he had a bed and breakfast in Vermont?

    On the last show of that series he wakes up in bed with Susan Plushette his wife from his FIRST series. The second series was only a dream...

    I do concur with ZIP on Six Feet Under. I loved that show and have seen every episode. The ending was just plain fantastic. A very well written, creative show. Sorry it had to go!
