Opinions please......
Years ago I used to hunt Javelina in Southern Arizona just about every year. I used a scoped Ruger chambered in .32 H&R Magnum. In those days, you could hunt Javelina just about anytime you wanted. Now there is a season with tags and you have to apply months in advance just like deer, elk, etc...the powers found another resource for money....but that is another story. [xx(]
Anyway, I have long since lost, traded, sold and/or gotten rid of the old Ruger and have the urge to relive a Javelina hunt before I kick off. Maybe early this coming year. Not kick off early this coming year, but relive the hunt. [:)][:)] So, I'm thinking of buying another revolver in .32 H&R Magnum.
However, this is where your opinion comes in....I have my S&W Model 586 .357 Mag with 6" barrel that I can put a scope on with no trouble at all. Should I go with this or buy another revolver in 32 H&R Magnum? Doesn't necessarily have to be a Ruger. Money is no object. I have plenty of Folger's coffee cans laying around stuffed full of that stuff. [;)][;)] I'm just wondering if the old .32H&R Magnum has seen its day and maybe I should just stay with the .357 Mag S&W. What do you say.........[:)][:)]

Each cartridge has its place and limitations, if you are happy wiht what the 32 can do, then great... if not, lots of others to choose from.
Also, you may want to do some looking around on the web re: the 327 magnum. Lengthened and more magnum-ized 32mag case... there was a posting here on it the other day, should come up with a quick search0 -
