My Grandaughers.....
I am taking my two grandaughters out shooting this morning. While getting ready, I overheard them talking....One said she wanted to stop by the store on the way home and get some goodies. The other said it would be closed for the holliday. The younger asked what holliday? The older said, we would look at the colors decorating the streets, if it is red, white and green, it is a mexican holliday. If there are no colors, it is an American holliday. Are kids in tune with the times, or what?

pickenup.....We are back. Much to my delight, they outshot me again. [:)][:)] The oldest will be 10 in Oct and the youngest 8 in Jan. I just upgraded the oldest to a youth model 20ga Charles Daley and she is doing great. She hit 10 out of 15 hand thrown clay birds with her new gun, until I made her stop....wanted her to ease into it. [:D][:D]

She may have the makings to be a sharpshooter.

Been having computer problems today or I would have gotten back sooner. [:)][:)] I've been working with the oldest for awhile now....since she was 6 with the 1890 shooting single shot. Then the Topper .410.....When she started creaming me at trap, I figured it was time to step up. The youngest hasn't showed much interest in shotguns yet but still loves the .22s, so I'm not rushing her....[:)][:)]
