SAKO M995 .300WM - Please Advice.

I place a used (but very nice all around, esp action and barrel) blued with composite stock and detachable mag from our local Scheel's store on layaway this weekend. Sorry no pictures ... yet [:D].

1. Any information (accuracy, pros/cons, etc ..) you can provide is very much appreciated.

2. I paid $499. It came with SAKO optilock base and 1" scope rings. I am told the base and ring set up is worth approximately $200. How did I do?
