Italian 22 rifles
Hey there
Does anybody know of a 22 rifle made in Italy with the maker Sabbiati? Looks to be a Ruger 10/22 knock off of sorts. Nice wood, heavy bull barrel. Looks to be well made. Unfired possibly. Do I take a chance? Searched the web and found no info. The gun was well marked Sabbiati 22 long rifle made in Italy. Thanks for any info.

Well, looking further, in the Blue Book, I found the maker listed, and a link to a website that is down. (at least the name seems to known, and associated with a old factory). Anybody else? I'll pick it up and see how these Italians do. 0 -
Well, I bought it. Sabatti Sporter 22 with a 18" bull barrel. These I guess were brought in by EAA. Don't know how many were sold or brought in. Mine is unfired (as of yet). Hope the range is open today! 0 -
Does anybody have one of these? 0 -
...wow, you talk to yourself too much dude! Kidding. Never heard of the name, that dont mean squat though.
...Dang sure could not be much worse than a 10/22 out of the box...luck...[;)]

My girlfriend says the same. ( I also tell her she talks too much)
Just wanted to know if there are any problems with these. Love to buy american, but could not refuse such a cool looking rifle, sexy heavy barrel good wood, at such a good price. I also think my belgium browning is sexy in the slinky slim sort of way.
Yes I do talk too much0 -
How much was it? 0 -
...yeah, "pics"..price?...and range (plinking/function) report...[;)]

the photo did not come up for me but that should be it. There is also a photo at the Sabatti site. Mine has the bull barrel. I paid 200 with a scope. The gun is unfired as of today. I'll take photos later this spring. (need to buy 2 fishing reels before a camera!) 0
