    The gunbroker auction rules are a bit F'd up when compared to other well known auction sites.

    I unwittligly had that exact same thing happen to me in the past prior to leaving for a weekend trip while attempting to adjust my max proxy bid......bid at your own risk should be the motto here.

    I don't understand what you're saying at all. In this case the guy didn't really bid against himself, I just brought it up as way to plug the auction.
