TX here I come! (update) I made it!
I will be a Texan! Well at least an imported American living in Texas. I will be calling the Ft. Worth/Dallas area home. Lots of changes, I'm pretty excited about the whole deal. I'll still be posting, maybe more than normal as I will be bored on the drive and my phone has internet service. (I won't be doing that unless I'm riding shotgun).

To be honest I never liked Texas much when I came here at first. After 7 or 8 years I'm actually liking it more and more. I'll never like the heat, humitity, or the lack of mountains, but the the mentality of people I like more. 0 -

I am a native Californian (Northern), but my inlaws live in Round Rock (Austin area). I could live in the hill country, but no where else in Texas.

...well Dave, now you need to get at least one pair of boots (I think I have about 16-17 pair)...and get some good ones. Ostrich is the best wearing, fitting, comfortable skin out there.

...almost forgot, you need a good all around hat too[:D]
...too lazy to take a pic of mine, but a Resistol Black Gold is a good all 'round hat, can't go wrong with one...and be sure and get a good shape on it, not some hokie looking one...or push the guy away from the steamer and shape it yourself, I do...the one in this pic needs shaping bad!...[;)]0 -

You will feel right at home in Dallas or one of the suburbs. Even among the English speakers, there are very few native Texans left in the area. Lots of Mexicans and Yankees. 0 -
