The guy from KY ambushed two sheriffs deputies. Claimed it was self defense. I think he has been on death row since 89'. Our tax dollars hard at work. They had him on the news a few weeks ago talking about how he had researched and come to the conclusion that the lethal injection was cruel and unusual punishment. I'd like to donate the gun the bullet and my trigger finger. Thats what he gave his victims. Seems fitting to me......

That puke from here in Texas is worried because it might hurt when they inject him?

SO frigging what??? Imagine how his parents felt when he shot them in the head. This is part of the reason crime is on the increase. Most know they will never have to do the actual full time and the odds of being executed keep dropping.

We need to be able to fasttrack the ones that are guilty beyond a doubt (two or more witnesses, video tape, confession) straight to the chamber.

The notion that lethal injection is cruel and unusual is a ruse by the libs in their efforts to do away with capital punishment altogether.
I have had sodium pentathol used on me and I was feeling no pain. This is the same drug they use to knock out the condemned, only they increase the dosage a lot.

When I had surgery they gave me some med and I felt nothing was just out like a light, so why does it hurt a convicted killer?

Here is where the fallacy of the argument becomes apparent. The law says "cruel AND unusual" not OR. AND. Big difference. beheading with a bread knife may be cruel, but it is far from unusual.

i agree that lethal injection is unusual and possibly cruel. we should use more usual methods like a bullet in the back of the head. its cheaper, common and fast acting.

Sorry BarkingDog, that would make too much sense in todays world. That would be too much like the old western justice you see on TV where when the trial is over, they take the bad guy out and hang his ass immediately. Uh......well, maybe that's not too bad, afterall. [;)][;)][}:)][}:)]
