My son and I took a little trip down to the Sportsmans Warehouse in Rocklin, CA this morning. The one north of Sacramento. My intent was to pick up a few thousand pistol and rifle primers. [:)][:)] Of course, I have listened to the warnings and rumors of shortages and like most people never heed those warnings until it's too late. Now, I am sorry I didn't listen. What greeted me when I got there were near empty shelves where tons of primers should be. [:(][:(] There were a total of three thousand large rifle primers on the shelves and about four hundred small pistol primers. [xx(][xx(]
Just thought I would let you know.....sometimes the rumors are true.

    Have had no problems getting primers. Place I go has thousands and thousands of primers all over the place. Did they say if they were expecting some in soon?

    I haven't bought any for 4-5 months. I'm just about out now though. I order mine online. 10k large rifle, 10k small pistol, and whatever powders I need. Got to offset that $20 hazmat, though it doesn't take nearly that many.

    I order mine from Powder Valley and it's a lot cheaper than buying local. I just looked and they seem to have about all of them in stock.

    Just a thought but do you have powder and bullets to go along? Most of the stuff I shoot a lot are bullets I make. I try to make sure I have enough case life (usually 5 or 10 reloads) to use up the makings.

    I mold my own bullets, so I'm OK there. Got tons of that. Got enough powder to supply Pancho Villa if he comes back too...[;)][;)]
