Hunted Mikkel's lease yesterday..

Gotthere late, and had to leave too early.
The place is covered-up with trails,scrapes,and rubs. I found the "climbing stand" but failed to locate either the ground-blind or the ladder-stand.
We found two prime spots,and hunkered-down to watch a nice "bottom".
I guess we sat from about 10:30AM -4:15PM. Heard some shots fired on another lease, but we never saw a deer.
I'm sure if we could have found the other "hot-spots, or even stayed longer where we were, we would have scored.
All-in-all, a great day out, and a pref spot. Hope to get to go with Mike next year...

    Invite me to come up there next year, with my fierce Savage muzzleloader, and we will clean up!

    I know it... I wasn't driving, so i had to take the ride i could get..

    ABSOLUTELY! And i thoroughly enjoyed myself. It sure was nice of him to give us a shot at hunting,where he pays to hunt.
    He's a Very generous man.
