This is an "Only in Miami" story:
2 exchange paint, threats in boat rage episode

Think the drivers are dangerous on the Julia Tuttle Causeway?
They've got nothing on the boaters underneath it.
In an incident authorities are calling a ''macho'' standoff, two boaters traded paint and insults before one produced a weapon off the coast of Miami Beach Thursday night.
Details were still being gathered as of Friday afternoon, but this is how Jorge Pino, a spokesman for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, says it happened:
A man, whose identity has not been released, was fishing out of a skiff in the Molloy Channel when a another boater in a 19-foot Triumph approached him. The second boater tried to navigate a difficult turn, but missed it, and nearly collided with the skiff.
That didn't make the skiff captain happy. Harsh words were exchanged. Then the Triumph pulled a U-turn to make another pass at the skiff. This time, it didn't miss the small craft, causing a couple of hundred dollars worth of damage.
More insults were swapped, and the Triumph turned around again. By now, the man on the skiff had had enough.
'He produced a weapon, and said, `You'd better get out of here. I'm calling the cops,' '' Pino said.
The man then called 911, but still wasn't finished with the boater on the Triumph. He chased the Triumph north to the 79th Street Causeway, which is where the Coast Guard stopped them.
Charges are pending, Pino added.

Anybody here that ever fished "the hog line" at the mouth of lake creek on the Yentna got comments along this story line!
This would be real familiar if it had float planes, germans, and AK brown shirt troopers instead of CG.0 -
