Don't really collect them, but would like to find a Mississippi Valley Arms SxS. If you happen to know of/run across any please, let me know.[:)]

I love 410's too!! I especially like Winchester 42's. Personally I prefer a skeet model with a solid rib. I believe I read once that no 42 left the Winchester factory with a vent rib. Simmons installed them. I also like Marlin Model 90 410/22 and 410/410 o/u's. Not to leave out the Marlin 410 lever action from around 1930. I really like to shoot a Citori Superlight 410. Years ago, my dad had 2 11-48's one of them a 410 and the other a 28 gauge. Both Skeet models. I'm sorry he traded them off.
I just picked another field model 42 that I will be listing soon. Along with a Stevens 410 O/U with the split hammers.
When I was a kid, I started out with a 410 like most young hunters and when it was time to move up I always went back to the 410 until I got a chance to shoot a 28 gauge. Now that is my favorite and it has been for the last 30+ years! I guess the Marlin 410 lever is my favorite 410. Thanks for letting me ramble!!

I love 410s. I own a few but don't outright search for them. When I do happen to run in to one for sale though I start drooling and just have to have it. It was the first shotgun my brothers and I learned to hunt with. Sucker for single shots but my favorite that I own is an very old short sxs(stagecoach like).

I like the Winchester 42, also. I don't have a MArlin lever action .410, but I just might spring for one someday.

    Send me your email address.
There is a guy locally who has a win 42 410 for sale. I have bought several guns from him. I can put you in touch.

410s are a great all around gun. The 42's, 870's and 1100's keep going up in price year after year so they seem like a good thing to collect to me. I see more and more people hunting with them also.

I favor the 42's and the stevens side by sides.

I like the 410 as a cartridge, but I've never really found an affordable "small scale" platform to shoot it in... maybe one day I'll be able to afford one of the fancy shmancy ones...

I have a Stevens .22/.410 Over under with the tenite stock. One of my favorite guns. And its really quite accurate with the slugs.

    I love .410's

    Thinking of getting a Saiga.

A model 42 skeet gun is about the only gun left on my gotta have list.
The problem has always been the price. When I finally get ready to pay what they wanted the price has gone up again. So I guess the only thing I can do is to keep putting $1.00 a week into my retirement plan/lottery tickets fund.

I have an 11-48, in .410 that my pop gave me, when his eyes went bad.. He bought it in the earley 50's i believe. It was the only gun i ever saw him hunt with. No ! You can't have it..
