Who has seen this "nut-job' on TV, claiming a methane explosion took-out the dinosaurs?
I guess they farted too much...[V]

There is some evidence to support the notion that methane was released from below the sea bed at the astroid impact that caused the atmosphere to burn, but dino flatulence did not add appricabley to that conflagration. Plant eating dinos, like cattle did produce methane.

Their is said to be enough methane Hydrate in solid form, on the seabed, to power the planet for centurys as well..
