A little over-priced? Brushed chrom Win. 94

I bought one of these in 2001 for around $450. Is this seller outrageous? I can't believe that only 500 were made. I understand a bunch were made for export and only a limited number were made for U.S. consumption but $1,000? A sucker born every minute?

  Shore wish Ida bought one of them stainless winchesters for a grand from those morons. The plant never reopened and now there bringin 50 grand.
