John Deere Tractor Parts ? Music to your ears
I received the following email with a video attached.
Subject: Fw: University of Iowa Farm Machine Music
This incredible machine was built as a collaborative effort between the Robert M. Trammell Music Conservatory and the Sharon Wick School of Engineering at the University of Iowa. Amazingly, 97% of the machines components came from John Deere Industries and Irrigation Equipment of Bancroft Iowa. Yes farm equipment!
It took the team a combined 13,029 hours of set-up, alignment, Calibration and tuning before filming this video but as you can see it was WELL worth the effort.
It is now on display in the Matthew Gerhard Alumni Hall at the University and is already slated to be donated to the Smithsonian.
THIS IS NOT TRUE,, a prank. The video was a ""clip" from an original animation produced by Animusic.
Still, an impressive effort. The original video (pipe dreams) can be seen at this link. There is an advertisement film (30 seconds) you need to watch,, but even the advertising is interesting:

Very cool vid but I've seen this before. Not sure how I got to it ... it looks like animation so I don't know why anyone would think it had anything to do with JD parts ... perhaps just a claim someone was making about it like an internet legend or something ... 0 -
Anyone who has ever seen a JD tractor/irrigation parts, would know it's bogus!!Not to mention,IMPOSABLE!
