As long as everyones in a praying mood....

I'm 43 years old and have had some really bad results on 2 recient EKG's. I'm headed to a cardio doc tomorrow for stress test and the works.....blood pressure has been extremely high as of late even while on B.P. meds. 198/114 about 15 mins ago while doing nothing strenous and laying on the sofa....its been like this for the last week.
My past......I am married with 4 kids...18,14,6 and 4.
I was a lifelong resident of New Orleans until loosing the best job I ever had and our new home during hurricane katrina. After 2 years, we are still struggling to start over in northeast Alabama. Now, I'm faced with a potentially serious physical problem.....send prayers for me and my family.....

    What did the doc have to say, Rovr. I was struck with the same thing at 40. That was 26 years ago and I'm doing fine. Prayer works and you have mine, but it dossn't hurt to know a good cardiologist.

    The doc decided not to do stress test until he gets my b.p. under control. I go again friday for a ultrasound and b.p. check again.
    He doubled all my meds in the mean time
