remington mod. 7 youth
anyone have any dealing with this little rifle
I was in the loc. pawn shop and looked at one in 243 cal
they were selling it for someone and I can get it for 410.00 out the door.
it has the wood stock but no scope.
think it may be a good deal for my 12yr old .

I had a model 7 in .260. It was the wife's gun. It shot great after I fire-lapped the barrel and found the load that it liked (it was really picky, but all of the 6.5s that I have dealt with were). I would say go for it. You will more than likely be able to get out of it what you pay for it if it doesn't work out. 0 -
I have one in .223. Fits my short arms just perfectly. And its a tack driver. My brother-in-law has one in 7mm-08 that he just loves. Any I've seen have been good accurate guns. 0 -
can you replace the stock to a full size one if I wanted to when she gets older ? 0 -

Or, you could just lengthen the pull, with a slip-on recoil pad. $25.
$410 is a damn-good deal, if it ain't beat-up.
I'd say jump on it..0
