If someone/anyone is not testing frequently, because of the cost of strips or other testing supplies, you could be endangering your self.
My wife has assured me that none of her patients will EVER have to make a choice between weather to test, or to not to test, because of cost.
She truly cares about people, and the fight to control the disease of Diabetes...

    So long, Liberty.

Hey Jeff,.......my mom is borderline, not on any drugs yet, but must monitor by order of her doc.
She is now on medicare, at 66.
I told her to call Liberty, and save the trips out for supplies. Liberty said they would send her a new One Touch Ultra 2 for no charge.
The one she has now is getting a bit old.
Is that something that your wife does also?
Just checking, as she is going to call next week sometime.

Absolutely Marc. My wife is certified to take Medicare,or private insurances of any kind. Personal service is her thing. You or your mother, will deal directly with my wife. Debbie actually CARES about her patients. Your mom can call and talk to her any time she has a question, or comment."Liberty" is a HUGE corp. Your dear mother will be just another number with them...I'm sure Liberty would see to it that she got what she needs. A1 supply will make sure she gets what she WANTS.
That's the difference. The call is free, and mom can always go with the big guys, if she wants..1-800-471-0320

Well Jeff,.......just wanted to let ya know I called your wife a few minutes ago.
My mom will call her next Wednesday, and they can go through all the details.
We "jawed" for awhile,.......even talked about Tennessee.
Just wanted you to know it was me, when she gets home, and tells you about some long-winded guy from the forum boards![:D][;)]

I just hung-up from talkin to her.She says you used to live in or near Centerville.[:D] Cool man. We got around 80 or so acres to build on up there.Truck and home here are all paid-for, hopefully when the "snow-birds" get here we'll get some more accounts signed-up and we can move up to the woods!![:p]

    Jeff,
It was Sevierville actually, right outside of Gatlinburg.
Wished I would have kept the 15 acres, and the chalet now![:(]
