    They cost around $1100 I know, and I can find them fairly easily in the nearby stores. The ammo is a bit more expensive than other calibers and is slightly harder to find. I have 1 of these guns on my list of guns to buy. What are your thoughts on the gun and the ammo? Perhaps compare the ammo to the .45 Auto, or even the .357 magnum, which I have shot before, but I have not shot the 50AE. I know the prices for the ammo, the gun, and the magazines, just wanted your thoughts on the gun and the ammo if you have used it before. Also, does it tend to jam a lot? I like reliable guns like my Beretta 92FS that never jams, never has any problems, takes any type of ammo or magazine with no problem. My purpose in buying the gun? Really just to have. Not using it for hunting and certainly not for self defense, but maybe when SHTF as they say.

    There is no way i would do that to someone that would just turn them from the sport. i have a 50 it has a kick but not to bad

    Bad move... That ain't the least bit funny to me .That a-hole will have to go to sleep, some time, and i hope she takes the BALL-PEEN to his knee-cap! My friend has a ".50 AE" and tried to pull that number on me once... I dumped a mag-load in about 3 seconds, then asked if i could try it again...[:p]

    That guy is clearly an idiot. That girl was not experienced enough to shoot that thing. The .50 AE doesn't kick that bad if ya know how to shoot. My buddy's wife shoots our other friends .50, she weighs about 95 lbs. and shoots it very accurately.
