I wish I had the cash...this would be a steal for someone. They've got far more than the buy now price in inventory.

its about an hour north of me and I have been in there a couple times,,neat store but in too small a town to do alot of business, you would need to have a good internet business to make a living,

Nice joint, and attractively priced. I wonder why no one bought it. At only $120G, I could come close to paying cash for it, if I wanted to live and work in Berryville, Arkansas, which I don't.

I think Gun Broker, and other online auctions, are putting the squeeze on the brick and mortar gun shops.

Yes, I agree. And I agree that for such a shop, in such a location, to be viable, it would have to have a very strong internet/mail order business.

Berryville, Ark -Home of Wilson Combat and Saunder's Gun Museum (very cool collection).

Nice countryside there, but a small town and not located near a large city.

I'd use caution in looking at the "Inventory" as part of your effort to buy---many of the firearms pictured could be consignment sales instead of regular inventory. You would need an accurate fix on what is inventory and what are consignment sales before any serious bids.

The question I always ask when I see a business for sale is "why are they selling?". If it is thriving they would be stupid to get out of it, if it is failing you would be stupid for buying it.

The ad says you can have everything (inventory/etc.) without the actual storefront. Wonder if the price would reflect?

    Ben

I was also wondering if the building is under a lease?
The only way I would buy something like that is to be able to pack it up and move the inventory to my home state.

Some friends of mine recently picked up a store front gunshop for $15K. Previous owner was running it into the ground.

I am hoping he will relist. I would like to know more about the building and the land it sets on, as in how big. I can't ask the seller any questions since the auction is closed, nor can I look up his contact information.

He also didn't say how many employees there are. Actually, there is a lot he didn't say for such a sizable purchase. I don't think he intended to sell the shop at auction, but only generate some buyer interest. I betcha someone has contacted him and has a deal in the works or we would have seen the relist by now.

David...I just clicked on the link provided and it still lets me contact the seller...I don't know why it's not working for you. Do you want me to send him an email and ask him to contact you?

    I wish I could open a shop.
now if you want a gun, you have to drive 50 miles.
when I was growing up, our hardware store carried
guns, those were the good ole days.
