Bad morning
This morning I woke up to a phone call. It seems my one of my chows it dead down the street. I have yet to go get her. I'm trying to avoid it actually. I've had her since she was a puppy almost 9 years. I've been in near tears all morning. It's going to be really hard. I was just playing with her and brushed her hair. less than 6 hours ago. I think she's been run over by a car, but if I find out she's been shot then all he11 is going to break loose on this block.

Sorry to hear the terrible news about your little pup.[:(] I had a really sweet and lovable cat - wearing his collar - many years ago that was poisoned by a certain someone down the street who, of course, didn't have the b*lls to fess up, let alone look me in the eyes from that day on. Like you have to do this morning, I had to go and retreive him. Not easy. I empathize with you on that. Try your best to keep calm. 0 -
Feb 26th, 2006 we lost our 12-year old cocker spaniel. I met him when he was 15 minutes old.
This past Feb 26th (last week) was pretty brutal for me, despite the fact that we adopted an English Springer back in July.

Seems like that's all I ever do anymore is grieve. My life is going so well, but I can't help buy feel distant for everyone around me. I'm still very upset about alot in my life. They only thing that seems keep me in touch with the world is my dogs. I still have a Chow and 3 Austrailan shepards.0 -

Sad to say, but the longer you live, the more furry friends you will have to bury. I buried a puppy last week and Sandy the squirrel died two days ago.
Enjoy their company while they are here.0 -
I buried her earlier tonight. It was hard. I broke down after she was in the grave. I put her on some land I have over in Washington county with all of my other pets that have died threw the years.
After I got home I gave my other dogs baths and brushed there hair and I'm going to let them sleep with me in the bed tonight.0 -

Sorry to hear about your loss. We recently lost one of cats. We got him and his sister when we got married 14 years ago. I didn't think it would bother me (not being a cat person)but I took it harder than I would have guessed. The hardest part was breaking the news to our 8 year old daughter. This was her first experience at losing a pet and took it very hard.
I buried a dog in Washington Co. at my in-laws pet burying ground.0 -
I must say you guys are really nice here. I don't think it would have went so smooth on some other sites that I visit.

Sorry about your dog. It's hard to have one die for any reason. At least you'll know what happened to it. It's even worse when one just disappears and you never know why. Hang in there. 0 -

I have been so busy lately I haven't had time to really read a lot of threads.....I am VERY sorry to hear about what has happened. I can't imagine loosing my best-est buddy. Do what you can to keep your chin up! The rest of them need you. 0
