Dog ready to whelp (update3)

UD3 score is final. 7 pups, didn't check the last two, will post a pick tomorrow when they have full bellies and are licked up clean


UD2 13:20 and pup count is now up to 5, 3 males 2 females


UD1 Checked her @11:42 RMT and one pup so far, had it cleaned and looking like a nervous momma.

My Airedale "Maggie" acts like today's the day, tomorrow would actually be 63 days, but she looks like she'd blow up if she goes much longer.
At this point she looks like she could easily have a dozen, this being her first litter hard to tell, but read that Airedales are known for having way more pups that they have teats for. If so this will be like suckling bum lambs again.

    I encourage letting nature take it's course. She'll shuffle, or weed as need be. G'luck.[:)]

    Pics would be nice if you could.....I understand if you have too much going on. I love puppies!

    Lula Bear, our Labradoodle just had 11 pups for her first litter.
    One died because she was laying on it while delivering another.
    Eight teats and ten pups and they all did well and weaned last week.

    Anybody want a Labradoodle??

    Oh don't worry I'll get some pics. Our Vet says we have the only breeding pair of Airedales in the upper valley,
    good blood lines, hope they will sell easily.
    I have a couple bear hunters interested already, just waiting on the male/female count.
    She's out in the barn now, I just check her every little while.
