    LF, as turtles11756 stated your gun is chambered in 32 Winchester Special (32WS), which is completely different than 32-40! Knowledgeable Winchester folks will know the correct chambering of the gun, but you might want to clarify the auction description just in case.

    God it iritates me to see someone ruin an old gun by carving notches into the stock!!! Completly ruins it for any collector value!!!![xx(]

    I have had about four old Winchesters in less than a week...two 92s and two 94s. With the years, caliburs, buying, selling getting work done to one and trading off another....I thought I would "HURRY" and get that one going on line early this morning.

    I am....NOT....a morning person. So, I stagger in the office and with one eye open (kinda weaving as I type) tried to get that gun listed before getting ready for work.

    I should know better than to do anything at all before at least three cups of coffee. That is how the calibur got all "tweedled" in my head. Its no fun watching yourself go crazy...I should at least get to park in the "special spots" with a mind like mine.
