NICE! Good luck with the auction.
When I read your post I checked the serial number on my own Model 34 4" nickel. No BS, mine is M6245x. Our two guns must have been made the same day back in 1973.0 -
Locust Fork, unfortunately I'm in the ranks of the poor and can't bid on this one, but if you don't mind a bit of advice from an amateur to a professional ? ? ?
I can see from your pictures that you have a pinned barrel and recessed cylinder Smith & Wesson. I know if I saw it, everybody else can see it too, but in future it couldn't hurt to mention it in the body of your add. For reasons I don't fully understand, "pinned barrel" and "recessed cylinder" to a Smith & Wesson fan has an effect similar to Viagra.
According to Standard Catalog ofr Smith & Wesson (Second Edition) this one was manufactured 1971/1973.0 -
You are too kind for helping me...I usually have more time and do better with the details, but I got in a hurry because I wanted to take some guns outside to get pictures. I will go back and get these details entered.
THANK YOU!!!0
