e-mail rant

    Short and sweet:

With the spate of spam and scam e-mails, most of what enters my in-box gets summarily dumped. Now and then I find a piece of 'junk' that is not junk.

USE A SUBJECT LINE THAT MAKES IT CLEAR WHAT YOU'RE REPRESENTING. (Yelling with thought).

Seriously, if I don't recognize the name and the subject is something like "newsletter," I'm usually going to trash it without opening it.

    I'm done.

My e-mail is usually full of vendors offers and forewarded messages from my mother-in-law. She is sweet...but my brother has had to "fix" her computer numerous times because of viruses she has gotten from these cute little messages she gets and sends on to me. I NEVER open them.

I have made it a habit of trashing the "junk" before I even start to open my messages.....just so I don't accidentally open something. I once did open something from a pharmacy type thing and I haven't ever stopped getting those types of e-mail junk.
