It came that way. The one I have had for a while has a shorter barrel but no scope. It uses the standard buckmark mags....if I had any handy I would put them with it. I think I can get mags for it under $15. That is what they ran a couple weeks ago.....hopefully they haven't raised the price on them and blamed it on gas prices just yet. 0
