Charity Auctions, Thanks To Slow Hand

Slow Hand sent me this stuff to auction off, requesting that the proceeds go to a food pantry. Proceeds from the auctions will go to People That Care, a community outreach program of the Shady Grove Church in Grand Prairie, Texas. They feed and meet basic needs for a lot of people, every day.
This is a good time to run a fund raiser for a food pantry. People get all generous in the weeks leading up to Christmas, but very often, the pantries have tough times during January and February when donations drop off.
So, take a look. I have tried to price the items at what they should bring, but if enough of you request, I will change them to penny auctions and let ya'll fight over them.
Thanks for looking.

And a very big "Thank You! goes to nunn for taking on this "project" in the first place AND for graciously doing all of the grunt work on his end AND also for offering to pay the S&H to the lower 48 on his end. Much appreciated. Thanks David!!!
I hope that these charity auctions can raise some bucks for those among us who simply cannot afford to buy any food. If you would, please take a look see at them, folks. Thanks!0 -
I put a bid on on the P32 mag. Can always use an extra for my 'lil pocket pistol!

Been needing to get a small revolver holster for myself for a while now.
Would rather the money go there than to someplace else.[8D]

Thanks, folks.
Here's what I will do. Items that don't sell the first time, I will relist starting at a penny, and let the buyers fight it out.0 -
BTT. Come on, people. Even if you don't really NEED any of this stuff, think about where the money goes, and you can always give the thing to someone else.
When my kids were home, I would take them to the PTC during their Christmas break, and make them fill orders and take them to the cars for people. It was a good learning experience for them.0 -

Quite a good deed, I think... If i had an account where i could buy stuff, id bid on some cheapie stuff, but i dont, if those go to a penny imma have to get dad to put his CC # in 0 -
Wish I had some extra cash flow...I'd be willing to bid some of these things on up. Great cause! 0 -

Yup! That's exactly wht I went and did. Got all ready to bid and (I Am An Idiot) saw the $200.00 minimum bid. I don't want to seem cheap, but, since I already seem stupid, I'll take that chance. I could have sworn there was no minimum bid on that revolver when I first looked at it. I'm sorry. I'll look at the auction to see if there's something else I need.0 -
There. I bid on a knife. Ain't much, but it's what I can afford.
C'mon, guys. somebody with some bucks give that sweet lil Smith a home.0 -
I relisted the slow movers, and lowered the starting bids, but not to a penny. Since I am paying the postage, I started the bids at about what I figure the postage will be. 0 -
As of now I'm high bidder on six of the items. I assume that it's cool to wait to see how they all shake out before paying and shipping them? 0 -
I'm in for the shoes. My favs, and my size even! 0 -

....The MSN sign-in servers are down. I got a half a**ed connection through Hotmail. I'm doin' the best I can, but I can't keep on top of things. I'm tryin', I'm tryin'! 0 -

You'll have to try harder if you want that j frame holster.0 -
...The servers are back up...sort of. I keep getting kicked off. My Mod.37 Airweight (pinned barrel) is talking to me. It says it's tired of pocket lint. When Smith talks, I listen. 0 -
back to top, still charity auctions! 0 -
I just can't have too many of those north american mini holsters!!! Maybe I will win them. 0
