Great Day at the Gun Shop
I stopped by my local gun shop to say "hi" to the guys, and discuss new guns. This was the first time I got to look at the Taurus 1911 up close and personal. It is quite impressive. It was going for $539.99 (reasonable I guess for the features on it). While I was there I found out that PMC ammo company had been bought and re-opened they had a sale on PMC BRONZE .45 ACP and 9MM for $10.00 a box, so I got some to try out. Has anyone shot this ammo yet? But then again, any day at the gun shop is a good day.

Thats about what I paid for my PT1911. I have put about 600 rounds threw it now, without a single malfunction. For the money it is a great 1911 clone.......

If its as durable as their PT92 I would not hesitate to buy one. Taurus has really improved on their guns rifles and handguns alike. Safe shooting!! 0 -
We have sold at least 20 of them without any of them coming back with a single problem. A 1911 with all of the extras for under $600 is a deal.....especially from a company that has been around as long as Taurus and has such a great no-hassle warranty.
The only guns we have had in the same price range were the Rock Islands lately. There have been others, but those companies are gone now. Taurus is always a safe bet.0
