Movie stars have always been part of the system. Otherwise, they would never get into a movie.

Now that us baby boomers are old(er) and have more $$$ they're just catering to us with the music we grew up with. I still like it. But darn do you see how much they want for those songs now? Around a dollar+ each. WTH?

I got a huge kick out watching a " Soft Rock Hit's of the 70's" infomercial w/"Air Supply" as the hosts. Even tho most of the songs weren't my cup=o-tea during the 70's (I prefered Hard Rock), I knew most of the songs. And it was interesting to see what the artists looked like and the 70's styles. I laughed my butt off at the film of the guy from OrLeans singing "I wanna kiss you all over". He looked like Elaine from the TV show "Seinfeld" dancing.
But the funniest part was all the goofy looking yuppie's they had there saying "This music is the soundtrack of my youth".
"OMG, do I look like that?" I thought. Thankfully not. I'm more of a Larry the Cable Guy.
