    In Arkansas you can up to 3 of anything from the wild for a pet,red squirrels do make good pets,I had a couple as a kid and my 2nd son had one for around 6yrs,kept his window cracked and it would come and go,slept in the bed with him like a cat,only 2 things I ever raised from the wild were a problem,,,first was a buck deer,when he went into rut he was dangerous,charged everything,second was a bobcat,I already had 2 females and wanted a male to raise some littleones,,,damn cat was a blast,,lots of fun,,loved to play with kids but would piss on everything he passed,,had to mark his territory,,the smell was just too much so I gave all 3 away to a good home

    Not just yet. He keeps getting called all kinds of things. I'm just waiting to be certain he makes it before I get used to the idea of him being a fixture at the store. I am not the keeper of this baby squirrel....just the one that found him (really my dog did) but I do babysit and worry over him a bit more than I should.

    The little guy was being babysitted by a girl my friend knows. I told him that if he got any female to watch it for him he wouldn't get it back. (and we haven't seen him since.)


    I would have kept him if I could have. I just have WAY too much going on to care for an animal like that. I'll have to stick with my two dogs for now.
