    Sure it was not made in Belgium?

    That is what I thought of the ones that used the Sako action from 1961 to 1975.

    To be honest $800.00 seems a little steep for one in the condition you are showing in the photo's.

    Les.....this one is one pretty rifle. I don't know what "condition" we see other than pretty pretty pretty. This one is a Belgium/Portugal gun....


    I actually caught my oldest in a conversation about selling her Winchester lever action today. (like she could)

    I like Winchesters....just because it was one of the first guns I owned.

    But pretty, pretty, pretty does not cut it.

    Those guns were made from 1961 to 1975, and was chambered for everything from .222 to .458 Winchester.

    The Safari is considered a plain gun. Now if you were to throw out a Medallion (fancy) or an Olympian (very fancy) then you would be talking a whole new ballgame.

    Fish...I like your Winchester. I just have way too much going on to work out trades. I get asked quite a few times per week about trades on some of these sales. Trades are just too hard to do on the internet sales (especially since they are listed as penny auctions with no reserve.)
