I'm feeling like breakfast

Country Kitchen or Perkins? There's a Denny's in town but I have to stick to one of my two home town favorites.

    Neither. As a OTR trucker I've had enough choke & puke food. I'd rather have a baloney sandwich AT HOME.
    The only reason I go out to eat is because my wife likes to.

And I never could figure out why potatoes costed extra if you didn't want grits. I like grits, but it would seem only fair to substitute one for the other at no extra charge.

    they substitute at mine! we are there almost every sat. morning. they also have the best coffee!!!

    Country Kitchen? - the original quantity over quality dive. Why? Because the patrons are all old people looking to be gluttons for $9.95 and eating dinner at 1:00. Their taste buds died 50 years ago!

    We have one near me in Fairfax and it is an absolute RIOT to go there and eat lunch with the older dinner crowd and watch them elbow each other out of the way to get the "fresh" food. Animals!

    But I'll add the oven too, for the biscuits. Also, bacon cooks better in the oven...

    I had organic whole wheat cheerio cereal something or other...basically cardboard with milk. Trying to eat healthy most the time. Will tear into eggs, bacon, sausage, etc if I need to though.

    I had leftover Dirty Rice and a piece of Chocoate Cake. To heck w/eating healthy. I've seen what getting old looks like and it doesn't look like a prize to me.
