Discovery sonic boom

shook our house. 11:51CST, about 9 minutes later it landed. That booger was booking.[:D]

  It went right over here, but I never heard the boom. Can you just imagine how it must feel coming in at that speed, dead stick, with no "do overs"? Them folks have my respect.

  I was at a truckstop in Baton Rouge La. one nite when it flew over on it's way to land. Saw it on TV (live) as it went over Houston. Got out of the truck and watched it go over. Got back in truck and watched it land. All in about 10-15 minutes time.
  There was HUGE sonic boom that night. Radio reported it was heard all over southern La.
  But reportedly NASA claimed it was impossible. Didn't fool anybody. We know what we heard.
