you are undergoing physical therapy following hand surgery and you overhear a mother ask the therapist working on her 11-12 year old son's hand "will the injury affect his trigger finger".[^]
Seriously, it happened while I was undergoing hand therapy last week. Man, it is great to be back in Texas after all of these years.[8D]
You can be sure that is not a conversation you would have typically overheard in California. In CA it may have been more along the lines of "will it affect his ability to make Quiche".[:D]
