The tightness of the elastic would make these very uncomfortable, perhaps even unhealthy, to wear for extended periods of time...and rushing to put them on when one felt the urge to flatulate might result in an embarassing situation. Seems more practical to use lysol suppositories or simply rush outdoors. Otherwise, blaming the dog still works around here.[^]

From the "Wear and Care" instructions:

    Wearing Under-Ease

Your under-ease can be worn anytime, anywhere (i.e. to bed, to work, at social events including professional meetings, when travelling in any vehicle including car, airplane, train, bus or boat*.) Not recommend to be worn in water (i.e. shower, swimming, hot tub.) For maximum comfort and durability wear over cotton underwear.
*Ox carts, four-wheelers and skateboards excluded.

    This is a true story:

My son had a black lab mix dog that loved cheap dog food.

I was visiting and the weather was cold there, so they let him in at night. Somewhere up in the night, I felt this cold nose on my face and awoke to a brown cloud of dog farts, so bad I almost couldn't breathe! I ran him out of there, and wasn't able to fall back asleep..finally just got up and got ready to leave...

The dog's name was Mr. Cool !

Everytime I saw a post by that guy - I remembered that dog!

    From their testimonials page...

"I am a circus performer and for years I have been embarrassed to pass gas on stage. People in the audience sometime thinks its part of the act but it isn't. Because of your wonderful product today my audience laughs at my gags and not my gas." P. Maher

    Flatulence leads to flight diversion

NASHVILLE - Flatulence brought 99 passengers on an American Airlines flight to an unscheduled visit to Nashville early Monday morning.
American Flight 1053, from Washington Reagan National Airport and bound for Dallas/Fort Worth, made an emergency landing here after passengers reported smelling struck matches, said Lynne Lowrance, a spokeswoman for the Nashville International Airport Authority
