    Well Phillip now that I actually look at that menu that is from Foley,Al I looked at your profile to see if you were from around here so I thought they had opened a Lamberts in Louisiana. The prices are big but trust me so are the portions and the food is excellent. The Chicken fried steak and eggs and ham steak and eggs are the best thing going there. They do have one serious artery clogging omelet though.

    EVERYTHING IS HUGE AT THIS PLACE!I asked for coffee and got a "bubba mug"It was something else.Has anyone read the menu carefully?

    That's ok, I don't want to deprive HBBG from the country ham. I do wonder though, are there many hams raised in the city?

    Actually,Yes city ham was an option.Im told Its less salty.

    City Ham is like a Ham Steak Country Ham is more like Salt Meat almost.

    there is one right outside of springfield mo also,,I think its in Ozark Mo city limits,,there are 3 of them,,I eat at the one in springfield about once a month

    That is a great restaurant! Eat at the one in Sikeston abuot 4 times a year, and visited the one outside Springfield last year. Everything on their menu is all you can eat. Order a country fried steak and still have room left over? They will gladly bring you another one. That is one place, when we go, that that is the only meal eaten all day long! [:D] And yep...their brains and eggs are great!!
