Pinched Nerve

I think I have a Pinched nerve in my neck. I woke up this morning and I can not turn my head to the left. It is ok to the right but I get a very sharp pain if i look left. Any suggestions on how to get it better. I have taken a couple shots of whisky but it still hurts like he!!

    I've had a pinched nerve in my neck for probably 15 years ... I'm just living with it. The "cure" sounded pretty risky and terrible!

    I go to a chiropractor That uses a thumbper looking syringe. It takes about twenty minutes , and I walk out feeling fine.

    Been drinking again tonight, that seems to help it some.

    I've got one right between the wing bones - been there for almost a week. I've applied liberal liquid pain killer and tried to not agrivate it any more. Of course not agrivating it means nothing gets done which agrivates Mrs. Blue - so I'd rather live with one pain[:D][:D]

    Sounds like you gotta herniated disc. It sucks when they pop.

    When you get the urge to go do a number 2 does the pain-tingling get worse?...almost locking your legs up?

    That's the part I hate.

    Tell your PCM you want a EMG test on your legs. If he won't put in the referral go to the Tricare desk for one. If you have to...go get it yourself and pay for it.

    It's proof you have something pinching the nerves to your legs. Then they can start injecting your blood with radioactive stuff and do some MRI's to try and find it.

    My oldest son is going in for herniated disc operation on Monday. Something about one day in the Hospital and a laser.

    This used to be a serious operation. Now it seems to be common.

    Catpealer doesn't have the laser surgery as an option. I don't know how the North Dakota spine people are but stay away from the South Dakota spine folks.....they're crooked.
