Did you keep a special Christmas toy?
With the holiday season soon upon us, I was wondering if any of you have kept any special toys from a Christmas past? In 1957, my older brother and I received a pair of Hubley "Colt .45" cap guns. We were so proud of those guns even though they were huge for a couple of kids! They used "real" cartridges with "Greenie Stick-'em caps". Here's a picture of us on Dec. 25, 1957 (I'm the little blonde-haired boy. I was wearing my Colt, too, but it's hidden by my baby sister's basinette).

I lost my brother in Vietnam in 1968 but I kept his "Colt" with mine all these years. Here's a picture of them hanging on my wall that I took today. On Christmas of this year, they will be 50 years old and still work great! Do you have any special toys you kept?
