Ok the tax refund was a good one, and it was my birthday so I went and bought myself a new pistol. I bought a Sig 220RS DAK 3.9" bbl, light rail, tritium night sights. $681.99 +tax. I test fired it yesterday, man this pistol is the most accurate out of the box I have ever fired, I was not half trying to be accurate and I tore the center out with no problem. I am in love.[:D]

nice, how many rounds do you think you could get through that before it looses accuracy and needs rebarreled?? 0 -

...Nice rifle Clay! Hot little round! Acu-trigger I suspose?
...and what exactly will be the target of this guns destructive power?...[:D]
...Been thinking about you for 2 days buddy! Yesterday after noon, three of us, three trucks and six round bale haulers (5 bales each, 1 bale on each trucks faltbed pulling two haulers, ttl 11 bales each trip per truck[:D]) loaded, hauled, dumped and stacked 198 bales in a little less than 3 hours.
... Loading in a rented pasture 2 miles (kaleche rd too) from where we were stocking it. All three trucks looked like a train a'commin..[8D]
......brought in the rest from that pasture this morning...297 bales. Couldn't cut the rest, came a good rain about 7:00 or so, so no cuttin; did NOT hurt my feelings any...[:0]
...Question,...where were you?...enough work for awhile for this old man, NICE GUN, I LOVE that round!...[8D]0 -

I got to go get about 10 round bales and 200 squres in the next few days when i get the time off.
Glade you like the rifle it was a good buy 195.00 for it [:D] my plan was to trade to a guy i know for the 22-250 just like but with a wood stock.0 -
If it's anywhere near as accurate as this one, you'll NOT be disappointed.
A co-worker is working up a load for me now. We are trying to get it to be a consistent one holer. Right now, with Winchester factory ammo, it's consistently between .50 and .75 inch groups. Not bad for a $250 rifle and a free (donated) scope, huh?0 -

Impressive. Just curious, at what distance..?0 -
...At $195 I would say a REAL nice buy! Savage definately got back in the game the last several years after having a great run (who can deny the Savage 99!), then not so good and now been playing strong again for a few years...I really like them, again...[^]
...If I'd ever have any $$$ left from my Colt addiction, I love the Sav 22-250...not much "actual" use for it...but hell, I love that round and shootin paper is a hoot with it; and exploding small creatures, or killing yotes.
...[:D]..."call", uh-huh...NOBODY gives anyone a call when they know the person their calling is doing anything with "hay" in the sentance...[:0]
...The rounds are not near as bad as the squares, eewww, and have a lot of them to work on too...[V]
...Way too much hand work with the squares...I'm into the machine age REAL strong...guys are cutting today so wont be anything left but to rake, row, load, haul, unload and stack...that's all...[8D]
