Elvis' Handgun Stolen From Graceland

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A handgun once owned by Elvis Presley has been stolen from a display case at a museum.

Police Monday said the black 9mm Smith & Wesson pistol was taken from the Elvis After Dark museum across the street from Elvis' Graceland home last Tuesday.

A video camera caught the man removing the pistol from the display case around midnight. The video was shown on at least one Memphis TV station Monday night.

Thousands of Elvis fans were in Memphis last week for various ceremonies marking the 30th anniversary of his death.

The theft was discovered Friday when a visitor noticed a glass panel on the display case was unfastened and Graceland officials reviewed the video. The museum is operated by Graceland.

Is nothing sacred?

    Maybe it was really Elvis himself. He came back because he needed the gun to take out Michael Jackson...[:D]

    LOL! When i was at graceland and they told us we werent allowed upstairs to see his bedroom, i wanted to make a mad dash upt he stairs because i know he was up there watching us on CCTV.
